I attended the Buffalo PRCA championship rodeo at the Buffalo Rodeo Grounds. The rodeo was very entertaining. From staff to attendees, everyone I encountered was very friendly. There were a decent variety of fair food trucks. Bleachers were a bit rickety and would difficult to navigate for anyone with mobility issues.
This is a great Rodeo arena to see an excellent rodeo show. The Buffalo Rodeo is very well put on and has an excellent production value to it. The rodeo grounds are an excellent facility for rodeo performances. Great vending facilities. Bathrooms are clean and in good order.
The rodeo was a lot of fun. The grounds are fine, aside from the many inches of rain that had come in the previous few days. The parking lot was apparently one big pile of mud.
We had to be bussed to and from the high school, but that wasn’t too bad overall. The Rodeo provided the busses at no extra charge.
The ring was very muddy, which made the rough stock and most other events (like the mutton busting) extra fun to watch. It made the barrel racing a bit scary, as no one likes to see horses fall (none did at our night).
We enjoyed the PRCA rodeo we watched here, and will likely come back to see more rodeos here.
