Miss Buffalo Rodeo – Rhiannan Amerud

Hello there!

I’m Rhiannan Amerud, your 2025/2026 Miss Buffalo Rodeo, (I still can’t quite believe I get to say that out loud).

My journey with horses began the summer I turned 12, and I’ve been hooked ever since. From goat tying and 4-H, to barrel racing and cattle events, to WSCA and trail rides, I’ve tried a little bit of everything! But these days, my heart’s in the fast-paced world of Cowboy Mounted Shooting.

When I’m not in the arena, I’m either helping run our family’s small boarding facility in my hometown or working towards my college degree and becoming a Registered Nurse.

Being crowned Miss Buffalo Rodeo is truly an honor, and I’m looking forward to every handshake, every grand entry, and every story shared this year. The horse community has shaped who I am, and I can’t wait to give back to it in every way I can.
